All orders are subject to product availability.
If an item becomes unavailable after your order has been placed, we will notify you as soon as possible. If we are unable to fulfill the item, the applicable amount will be refunded to your original method of payment.
2. Battery Fitment
⚠️ Important Battery Fitment Notice
If multiple battery sizes are listed for your vehicle in our Battery Locator, your vehicle may have been equipped with different battery options from the factory.
Before purchasing, we strongly recommend confirming the dimensions, terminal orientation, and specifications of your existing battery.
If you are unsure which battery is correct, please contact us before ordering and provide the dimensions and, where possible, the model number of your current battery so we can assist with fitment.
3. Delivery Locations
Products purchased through our website are currently available for delivery to Canadian addresses only.
International customers may place orders provided that the shipping destination is within Canada.
We do not currently ship orders to destinations outside Canada.
4. Processing & Delivery Times
Most orders are processed within 1 business day, unless otherwise indicated.
Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding statutory holidays.
We do not normally ship orders on weekends or holidays.
Any estimated delivery date or transit time is provided as a guideline only and begins from the date the order is shipped, not the date the order is placed.
Actual delivery times may vary depending on:
- Carrier operations and transit times
- Delivery location
- Weather or transportation disruptions
- Shipping method
- Product availability
- Size and weight of the shipment
- Freight or specialized delivery requirements
Products within the same order may occasionally be shipped separately.
5. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are generally based on the weight, dimensions, destination, and delivery method associated with your order.
Where available, shipping charges will be calculated and displayed during checkout.
Additional charges may apply for:
- Remote or rural destinations
- Oversized or heavy products
- Palletized freight
- Residential freight delivery
- Liftgate service
- Limited-access locations

Certain large or heavy orders require freight delivery. We may be unable to ship certain orders to destinations where we do not have access to a carrier capable of providing the required liftgate or other necessary unloading service.
If we determine after your order is placed that suitable delivery service is unavailable to your destination, we will contact you to discuss available options. If no suitable delivery method can be arranged, the affected order may be cancelled and refunded.
Applicable sales taxes are charged according to the province or territory to which the order is shipped.
Damaged Shipments
6. Visible Damage at Delivery
If there is visible damage to the package or freight shipment at the time of delivery, inspect the shipment before signing for it whenever possible.
You may either accept the shipment as damaged or refuse delivery.
If You Accept a Damaged Shipment
Inform the delivery driver that the shipment is damaged and request that the damage be recorded on the delivery receipt or in the carrier's electronic delivery system.
Where possible, write:
"Received Damaged"
beside your signature.
Before opening or moving the shipment, take clear photographs showing:
- All sides of the outer packaging
- Dents, tears, punctures, crushing, or other visible damage
- The shipping label
- Interior packaging and protective materials
- The product and any visible damage
Please retain all original packaging, cartons, pallets, labels, and packing materials until the claim has been resolved.
If You Refuse a Damaged Shipment
Tell the driver that you are refusing the shipment because of visible shipping damage and request that it be marked:
"Damaged – Return to Sender"
Do not open, install, or use a product that you are refusing at delivery.
After accepting a damaged shipment or refusing delivery, contact Thunder Battery as soon as possible at 807-623-9011 and provide your order number and tracking information.
If the shipment was left without giving you an opportunity to inspect or refuse it, photograph the package before opening or moving it whenever reasonably possible and contact us promptly.
Original packaging and supporting photographs may be required for us to investigate the damage or pursue a carrier claim.
Safe-Dropped & Delivered Packages
7. Packages Confirmed as Delivered
Once an order has been confirmed as successfully delivered by the shipping carrier to the address provided by the customer, including packages that have been safe dropped, Thunder Battery is not responsible for loss or theft occurring after delivery.
A safe drop may include a package being left at a:
- Front door
- Porch
- Entrance
- Garage
- Designated delivery area
- Reception area
- Other location selected by the carrier as suitable for delivery
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address and making appropriate arrangements to receive or secure their shipment following delivery.
If tracking information shows that your package was delivered but you cannot locate it, we recommend:
- Checking around the property and common carrier safe-drop locations
- Checking with household members, neighbours, reception staff, or building management
- Contacting the shipping carrier for additional delivery information or GPS confirmation, where available
- Reporting suspected package theft to your local police service where appropriate
If the carrier determines that the package was delivered to the wrong address or location due to a carrier error, please contact us and we will assist with the carrier investigation where possible.
Customers concerned about unattended deliveries are encouraged to contact us before their order ships to inquire about available options such as signature-required delivery or hold-for-pickup service.
Thunder Battery is unable to provide a refund or replacement solely because a package is reported missing or stolen after the carrier has confirmed successful delivery to the shipping address provided with the order.
Return & Refund Policy
8. Battery Sales
All battery sales are final sale.
Batteries are not eligible for return or refund due to:
- Change of mind
- Ordering the incorrect size or model
- Vehicle fitment issues when the product supplied matches the product ordered
- No longer needing the battery
- Preference for another product
Battery products are instead protected by the applicable manufacturer's or Thunder Battery replacement warranty, where applicable.
Thunder Battery maintains purchase records for warranty purposes. Warranty duration and coverage vary by product and manufacturer.
A defective battery is not automatically eligible for a refund. Products believed to be defective must first undergo the applicable warranty inspection or testing process.
If you are uncertain whether a battery will fit your application, please contact us before purchasing.
9. Returns of Eligible Non-Battery Products
Unless otherwise indicated, eligible non-battery products may be considered for return within 30 days of delivery.

- Be in its original condition
- Be in the original packaging
- Be unused unless the return relates to a verified defect
- Include all accessories, manuals, components, and parts
- Be returned in its original packaging
- Be accompanied by a receipt or other proof of purchase
Do not send products directly to the manufacturer unless instructed to do so by Thunder Battery.
Returns must be authorized before being shipped to us.
10. Items That May Not Qualify for a Full Refund
A return may be refused or subject to a partial refund where permitted if:
- The product is not in its original condition
- The product is not in the original packaging.
- Parts, accessories, manuals, or packaging are missing
- The product has been damaged for reasons unrelated to Thunder Battery or the shipping carrier
- The product shows signs of misuse, improper installation, alteration, or abuse
- The return is requested more than 30 days after delivery
- The product is otherwise identified as final sale or non-returnable
11. Refunds
Once an authorized return is received, we will inspect the product and notify you whether the return has been approved or rejected.
If approved, the applicable refund will be issued to the original method of payment.
The time required for a refund to appear in your account may vary depending on your bank, credit card provider, or payment processor.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless otherwise required or agreed to by Thunder Battery.
12. Late or Missing Refunds
If you have received confirmation that a refund was issued but it has not appeared in your account:
- Check your bank or credit card account again.
- Contact your credit card company or payment provider, as processing times may vary.
- Contact your financial institution, as there may be an additional processing period before the refund is posted.
If you have completed these steps and still have not received your refund, please contact us at:
13. Sale & Clearance Items
Products specifically identified as final sale, clearance, liquidation, or non-returnable are not eligible for return or refund for change-of-mind purposes.
This does not eliminate any applicable warranty coverage for a product that is defective and otherwise qualifies for warranty service.
14. Defective Products & Exchanges
If you believe a product is defective, please contact us before returning it.
Depending on the product and applicable warranty, we may require:
- Proof of purchase
- Photographs or video
- Product serial number
- Testing or diagnostic information
- Return of the product for inspection
If a product is confirmed to qualify for replacement under its applicable warranty, it may be repaired or replaced in accordance with the applicable warranty terms.
Warranty coverage does not necessarily entitle the purchaser to a refund.
For assistance, contact:
Email: admin@lakeheadink.com
Phone: 807-623-9011
15. Gifts
If an eligible item was designated as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to the recipient, any approved return may be issued as store credit or gift credit where applicable.
If the item was not designated as a gift at the time of purchase, any approved refund will normally be issued to the original purchaser using the original method of payment.
